What the people above me had said. One guild in the GvG ladder jumped from the mid 70s to the top teens in the ratings in like 2 days. Their build was a bunch of W/Es with crippling slash and sun and moon slash with conjures. So yeah Batou, this nerf came from a PvP abuse you didn't realize (not that EVERYBODY didn't realize it, I heard about it about a few hours after somebody in my alliance saw it in Observer mode).

Conjure's effectively almost doubled the DPS from just swinging your weapon...Not to mention that double attacking skills and spammed skills was alot of damage in small packages (The Sword build has been mentioned in this thread).

Does anyone else feel this update was a little big for what it did? Early hard mode preparations?

They always sneak data into updates for big stuff like that.

Remember the 2 campaigns coming out...You basically cant play the game without lag a whole month before game release unless you -image the files and take care of a week or more worth at one time.

Not to "Early" either...Mid April is the timeline for hard mode, and today is the 14th...

Uh, i REALLY don't get how this "nerf" came to light. Was it seeing some major PvP abuse that somehow NO ONE realized? Or, uh... err... uhh... err.... i'm still confused... LOL!!

cheers.
Nerfed the damage and INCREASED the recharge, not decreased. And if you missed the fact that assloads of guilds were running conjure warriors simply because of how nasty they made just average attacks let alone attack skills like sun and moon slash, you are blind.

Instead of reverting to their original state, conjure skills were nerfed more.

My PvE Wander Warrior build (frenzy, conjure flame and a fire wand) sucks now.

Um, you lost three damage per attack? That sucks?

Conjures still have fixed duration @ 60 seconds so unless it gets stripped it's no big deal. However they indeed were a tad too good. 20 extra dmg @ rank 10 ain't a joke. (although they still don't compare to my 178 dmg with keen arrow on a 60 armor target)

Do you hate them all because they though of it before you did, and I quote, "They are PVP experts" and ur not? Anet is testing skills, deal with it, its not like they are out to get eles, if anything, they are looking for ways to make them stronger. If you could see that, maybe you would appreciate what they are doing for your lovely Ele class.
